Welcome to the PC&G blog!
My name’s Liz, and I scour the Web for cool sites — not all of them make it into our weekly video package, so we’re posting them right here. I’ll post my finds daily.
Got something you think we should see? Send me an e-mail at mobileliz@foxnews.com!

• Dancing Fool — Some pretty amazing foot work, but it would have been better if this kid tripped over his UFO Pants. http://www.chilloutzone.de/files/07072002.html
• Family Photos — One man’s family album. Absolutely brilliant! I applaud the makers of this site.http://www.w9rac.com/our_family_photo_album.htm

Suggested by Nikki from New Jersey:
• Mind Me Bloody Beer — This drunk guy has one request: He wants you to help him hold his pint steady without spilling! I wonder if this one gets easier with each beer you drink.http://www.wiiplayable.com/game.php?gameid=161

• Drinking Rules — They do exist, so make sure you learn them, love them, and if you’re sober enough, abide by them! http://www.thebeermall.com/drinkingrules.html
• Pipe Cleaner Dance — The simplest concept ever! Make the pipe cleaner dance by rolling over the keyboard provided at the bottom of the screen. My favorite move is the G-H-J-H-G combo But if your feeling really frisky, I’d say throw a K in the mix just not TOO much, you don’t want to over do it. http://www.davidbessler.com/pulldown/pipecleaner_dance3.swf
• Fugly — U-G-L-Y you don’t got an alibi, you’re FUGLY! Going to post your picture on the web? Well, you might want to think twice. The folks at fugly.net are trolling the ‘net for pictures of the web’s most unfortunate. http://www.fugly.net/menu.html

Suggested by John, from NY, New York:
• Stick It — OUCH, just watching this video makes my body ache. These little gymnasts have some freaky talent. http://www.metacafe.com/watch/628015/amazing_sports_acrobatics/
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}
• Tora Tora — Two guys setting out to promote skydiving! Here’s a direct link to one of their crazy videos. But make sure out check out the entire site for more amazing free-style tricks. http://www.toratora.nl/mov_freeroutine2007.html
• Universal Leonardo — Interesting and fun. Learn about the genius Leonardo Da Vinci with interactive games, galleries, and other cool stuff. The site was justly nominated for a Webby, making it truly fantastic. http://www.universalleonardo.org/

Suggested by Rory from Long Beach, NY:
• Hand Puppets — No longer just for kids. This stage act proves that hand puppetry is an art form all its own. http://www.collegehumor.com/video:1772114
• Top Idiots — Now, I really hate calling people idiots, especially when I don’t know them, but I have to say, if these stories are true, these are the dumbest people alive. http://www.spapo.com/s200.html

• Clicking Championships — This site separates the men from the boys and the limp fingered from the strong! OK, so that’s a little severe, but it is a race to see how fast you can click your mouse in 10 seconds. http://www.urban75.com/Mag/java7.html

A while ago, I posted the “Chocolate Rain” video by Tay Zonday, and since its YouTube debut, it’s become a freakish phenomenon, inspiring multiple parodies. Here’s a list of my personal favorites, but feel free to send me your personal picks. Liz
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}
• Chad Vader — The younger brother of Darth Vader (and the best day-shift grocery store manager of all-time) gives his own rendition of “Chocolate Rain.” If you haven’t seen any of the Chad Vader episodes yet, I suggest you take the time to watch a few of them first. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P6dUCOS1bM0
• Vanilla Snow — At first I was so distracted by his sensual voice that I almost missed that his lyrics make absolutely no sense. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nTQOpibv_OA
• Ollie Williams — You may remember him as the weatherman from “The Family,” but now he’s now a smooth sultry singer who’s breaking it down the Zonday way. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MS_tMYa_cOA
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}
• I Like Turtles This clip might not be the BEST parody of this song, but it does combine two of my favorite YouTube videos. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MqNmaygpFkU&NR=1
• John Mayer — This one was posted by VH1’s “Best Week Ever.” It’s John Mayer's remixed version of “Chocolate Rain” surprisingly, sang to the tune of Nelly Furtado’s single, “Say It Right.” http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kr42ZXpmwH0
• “The Wizard of Oz” Theory — It’s when video and audio from two different sources mix perfectly to create a completely new story, i.e. “The Wizard of Oz” and Pink Floyd’s “Dark Side of the Moon.” Well, here are two new ones that might just blow your mind! Or maybe not, since the video is repeated over and over and over again but it’s still pretty funny. Here’s Homer Simpson and Brian Griffin rocking out! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OUC_V92M5fA

• Shake Skin — You know that face you make when you relax your cheeks and shake your head around violently like when you head-bang to a heavy metal song? Well, next time you partake in that activity, snap a picture of yourself and send it in to this site. My favorite is Herb I think his inelastic old man skin really gives it the full effect. http://www.shakeskin.com/Shakeskin/Gallery/Shaken/
• Pickupedia — It’s Wikipedia for pick up lines. Submit your own, or scout out new ones for the weekend. My favorite is, “Why don’t we go behind a rock and get a little boulder.” Oh yeah, that one has all the ladies lining up. http://www.nerve.com/pickupedia/(X(1)S(btsjst455m22wdzgxfuitueu))/Default.aspx?AspxAutoDetectCookieSupport=1

• Celebrity Caricatures — See if you can guess the celebrity from their caricature! Most of them are pretty easy, but if anyone knows who the guy with the top hat and eye make-up is, please let me know I’m stumped. http://www.ebaumsworld.com/pictures/view/29890/?pc=47186

• Hang Stan — This one was pretty addictive. It’s basically hangman … but animated … with a pig. http://www.wiiplayable.com/playgame.php?gameid=105
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}
• The Nutty Buddy — “Protecting the Boys” … this product really does work! They’ve got an edited version on their site to prove it, but watch the uncut version on YouTube it’s HYSTERICAL. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6C9aiWr0Vfg
• Million Count — Jeremy Harper is taking a break from reality and doing nothing but spending his days counting to a million. All donations to his strange endeavor are going to PUSH America, a charity that helps people with disabilities. He started day 67 at number 764,001 and has already raised $6,723! Go to the site and listen to his round the clock counting (he’s only required to count for 16 hours a day a man can not live off counting alone), or go to the torture chamber and, for a small donation, scare Harper while he counts. http://millioncount.com/

• Almost Naked Animals — The cutest little critters in their underpants! My favorite is the turtle he likes paperclips. http://www.almostnakedanimals.com/
Suggested by Cathy from South Carolina:
• Jessica — She's the pet hippo that thinks she's human. It’s a little long, but it's the sweetest story I've heard all day. http://www.flixxy.com/pet-hippo.htm
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}
• Idiot Test — The name says it all! Of course I came out brilliant ... on my fourth try, that is. http://users.skynet.be/bk258512/idiot_test.swf

• Celebrity Yearbooks — This site proves that the “ugly duckling” saying is completely true, because some of these high school yearbook pictures are just downright scary! I will say, the 80s hair on Cameron Diaz, Eva Longoria and Hilary Swank is FANTASTIC. http://freelulu.squarespace.com/celebrity-yearbook-photos/
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}
• Beer Bottle Match Up — I thought I’d be awesome at this game, but it’s definitely harder than it looks. Simply look at the row of unlabeled beer bottles and the row of labels, then match up the label with its proper bottle. I think this could be easy, if you actually paid close attention to the beers you’ve been drinking. http://www.chilliman.com/beer_labels_frame.htm

• The Simpsons Mosaic — Homer Simpson fanatics, this one’s for you but I really think anyone can appreciate it. Click on the images in the thumbnails and get the stats on each and every individual Simpson episode. http://thesimpsons.com/mosaic/
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}
• Stupid Laws — I’m not sure how many of these are still in existence or ever existed in the first place, but some are HYSTERICAL! I think my all-time favorite is, “In Louisiana, it is illegal to rob a bank and then shoot at the bank teller with a water pistol.” http://www.skrause.org/humor/stupidlaws.shtml
• Elevator Annoyance — Oh, the fun you can have on an elevator! I’m going with No. 10 the old guy gives a creepy stare and declares, “I have new socks on.” Works every time. http://boardofwisdom.com/printquote.asp?msgid=9498

These are the breakdancing skills I wish I had, but alas, I leave it to the pros. That is unless you want to see a scrawny Polish girl flailing around like Gumby with Tourettes. - Liz
• Extreme — Watching this makes my back ache. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tyxlaib9UF0
• Who Came to Serve? — I ask myself that question almost everyday, but I never seem to get an answer. ANYWAY just sit back and watch in awe, these are pretty amazing old school skills. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t1cxZknllKA
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}
• Bender — This Polo-shirt-wearing kid blew me away … it wasn’t at all what I expected to come out of him (although he does remind me of this YouTube Classic.) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UYFDYX4i2EY
• Baby Skills — I couldn’t highlight the best of YouTube breakdancing without a mention of this little tyke. He might not be the greatest YET, but give him a chance it looks like he’s still wearing his Pampers. He still has plenty of time to learn. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TjpgLu_zqiQ

So the other day I posted a video of some guy (or girl) doing some pretty swift hand gestures to the song “Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger” by Daft Punk. Well, it turns out that MANY other people have taken that song and made a funky video. Here are my top three favorites. - Liz
• Extreme Rollerman — This is FANTASTIC! This guy straps wheels all over his body and literally rolls around town. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IVrlA3-f29g
• A Cappella — I wouldn’t say this is the best a cappella group I’ve ever seen, but I definitely give these guys kudos for tackling such a hard song. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wQVEPFzkhaM
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}
• Groovy Girl — Would you believe me if I told you this was me? Yeah I wouldn’t either … who am I trying to kid? I don’t have skills like that but I’m not so sure if she does either. Don’t get me wrong, she’s a good dancer, but this video looks sweetened. Check back tomorrow for my best breakdancer picks, no editing tricks involved. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sr2JneittqQ

• Now and Then — Not as good as the Christina Ricci/Rosie O’Donnell movie, but it’s still very entertaining. Pics of celebrities as they are now, along with what they looked like back then. Like fine wine, these celebrities get much more appealing with age (well, except for Pam Anderson, Michael Jackson and I’m still on the fence with Melanie Griffith … I think it all depends on your preference). http://studentsmetro.com/fun/images/522/Celebrities_-_now_and_then
• Sesame Street — This is what would happen to the Sesame Street gang if Cookie Monster was denied his cookies. Their entire universe would be flipped upside down and mass hysteria would inevitably break out. But, I do have to say, I love the new character “Dazzlegloves.” http://www.stevetastic.com/POST/sesamesmall.jpg
• Everyday Celebrities — Fantastic photoshop work from the evil geniuses over at TMZ. http://photos.tmz.com/galleries/ordinary_stars/page/2

• Brotherhood 2.0 — It’s a SPECIAL Point Click & Go today, because I posted my interview with John and Hank Green, the creators of Brotherhood 2.0 so, make sure you check it out.
What’s Brotherhood 2.0, you ask? Well, the two brothers, living miles apart, have vowed to communicate solely through video blogs (with a few phone calls mixed in, but no textual communication) for an entire year! The brothers often challenge each other, along with pretty harsh punishments for failing to post on their allotted day (my favorite by far being the day John had to wax his chin.)
Their popularity skyrocketed on YouTube with the release of Hank’s Harry Potter song officially titled “Accio Deathly Hallows” which was posted on July 18, 2007. But if all that still hasn’t grabbed your attention, then you should definitely check it out, to at least find out what’s in their pants. With intellectual rigor, wit and an ongoing community of “Nerd Fighters” the Green brothers have definitely brought something new to the pages of YouTube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CvvFiZyEyTA

• Washlet — This site makes bottoms smile, and it's the creepiest thing I have ever seen. The Waslet because clean is happy, if happy suddenly meant brainwashed and out of your mind! Just make sure you watch all of the videos; they're priceless. http://www.cleanishappy.com/
• Different Signs — Sticking with the potty theme, here's a bunch of interesting bathroom sign designs from around the world. http://losu.org/world/the-many-different-types-of-toilet-signs
Friday, August 10, 2007
• ZingFu — These are the best free e-cards on the Web. They're witty, simplistic and free! Be sure to send them to your friends! My favorite is the Ron Burgundy quote from Anchorman: "I'm gonna punch you in the ovary. A straight shot. Right to the babymaker, and I already know who's getting this one." Some are a little risky, so send with caution and to your friends who have a sense of humor. http://www.zingfu.com/cardz.php?category=9
• 80s Tees — I couldn't be any more excited to find this site. They've got vintage tees and collectables from all your favorite 80s TV shows, movies, video games and superheroes. My top three favorites are: 1) "Save Ferris" 2) Goonies' "Truffle Shuffle" and 3) The Donger's "What's Happening Hot Stuff?" http://www.80stees.com/

Suggested by Pat, a fan of Remy’s:
• Hey There Khalila — It’s sweet, it’s gentle and it’s much better than the original Plain White T’s song, “Hey There Delilah.” Remy, keep making those videos, they’re great. http://www.goremy.com/khalilahvideo.html
• Tower Blaster — By far one of the easiest, but most addictive, games out there. You’re the little Swedish boy and your goal is to knock down the Vikings tower before they blast your’s. It’s not as violent as you’re thinking this game uses MIND POWERS. http://www.tokenarcade.com/play-537-Tower_Blaster-Flash_Game.html
Wednesday, August 8, 2007
Suggested by Chris from New York, New York:
• Crazy Frog — This song is both old and EXTREMELY annoying. But keep your eye on the kid in red I used to dance like that back in the day … back in the day as in yesterday. http://youtube.com/watch?v=BgoOihBb78w
• K is for Karate — At first this may look like child abuse, but it’s really just amazing because these two pint-sized ninjas make a comeback and give this guy a whooping. http://one.revver.com/watch/155467
• Snoopanime — I just made that word up, but how else can you describe the Peanuts gang all grown up and in anime form? I was just a little disappointed that Snoopy and Woodstock get the shaft. http://www.poutz.com/img/snoopy/anime/
• Harder, Faster, Better, Stronger — This gives my hands a cramp (that will make sense when you watch it). It’s a little slow in the beginning, but make sure you watch past the song’s intro that’s when things really start to get crazy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K2cYWfq--Nw
Tuesday, August 7, 2007
• Little Becky — This is the cutest little girl from Dublin, Ireland who makes prank calls. My favorite is, by far, the one where she calls the demolition company, but take a listen to all of them. http://www.geckotales.com/becky-prank-calls.htm
• Hyphenated — Some people should NOT hyphenate their names … sometimes its just wrong. http://www.dribbleglass.com/Jokes/hyphenation.htm
• Ball Machine — So, this is how blue balls are made. I highly suggest semi-crossing your eyes and staring at this one, it’s mesmerizing. http://blueballfixed.ytmnd.com/
Monday, August 6, 2007
Suggested by Don from Richmond, VA:
• Pet Mustache — Grow and trim your own fantastic facial hair! I uploaded my picture and the results were frightening. I looked like a pre-pubescent Ned Flanders with long hair and a girlish smile, which is exactly why I’m not posting the picture. http://www.petmoustache.com/index.html
Suggested by Vinny from New Jersey:
• Bush vs. Zombies — In a “press” conference, President Bush speaks of a new threat in the war on terror and what he reveals is absolutely hysterical. Just keep in mind this is all fake or is it? The magic of editing is priceless. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IoXgRtDysLY
• Male Pregnancy — Now, I was freaked out when I saw the movie “Junior,” the one where Arnold Schwarzenegger becomes pregnant. This might be scarier since it’s REAL … or so they claim. With the hype around this story it’s no wonder it’s almost impossible to determine if this is a hoax or not. But supposedly Mr. Lee will be giving birth (no date announced, which is a little suspicious because I know if I was pregnant I’d be counting down the days), and this site lets you track his progress. http://www.malepregnancy.com/
Friday, August 3, 2007
• Super Sized Meals — So it may sound like this site is affiliated with the documentary, “Super Size Me” but its not! This site glorifies big meals. If you think you can stomach it, I suggest you take a look … even if you’re not a fan of the “Fools Loaf” (which is completely repulsive so make sure to look for it.) http://www.supersizedmeals.com/food/
• The Walking Tour — Here’s a story of a creature that resembles a gummy bear, that walks through the journey of life and learns some very realistic lessons along the way. OK, so it’s kind of like that poem “Footprints in the Sand,” and the bear does sound a little preachy and sappy, but it’s so sad and depressing that you can’t look away … believe me, I tried. http://www.geocities.co.jp/Hollywood/1387/walkingtour.html
• Chair Jumping — I want to work in this office … not that I don’t like my job, but this just looks like so much fun! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hCNyskoncmE
Thursday, August 2, 2007
• Mandrama — Hundreds of overly dramatic quotes from the average American man submitted by their female victims. I think my favorite might be, "Your love is like a canker sore, useless and painful." I'm warning you though, some of the content can be a little vulgar, so read with caution. http://www.mandrama.com/
• Friv — If you're looking for a flash game that you probably won't be good at, but you can’t stop playing, then this site's for you. I tried to play this car racing game because it looked so easy, that is until I realized I was in dead last and the other cars had already lapped me twice. I think I now know why I don't own a car, and why my friends cry at the thought of me driving theirs. http://www.friv.com/
• Jewel Encrusted — If you ever find yourself with millions of dollars to spare, this is exactly what you should get with it. Forget donating to charity, or buying your parents a nice little bungalow in North Carolina. Spend it all on jewel encrusted tea bags, and $1,000 pizzas. I'm not really sure what's worse, the fact that these things are so over priced, or the fact that someone made them in the first place. But it's nice to dream, so maybe one day I'll finally have enough pennies saved up to buy a $68,000 cricket ball. http://www.oddee.com/item_88021.aspx

Suggested by Chris from Washington, D.C.:
• Chocolate Rain — Now I've seen a link for this video on YouTube's main page for a while, and for some reason I was not compelled to watch it ... so I didn't. Well, that is until a viewer sent me a link and wrote that "it's the most addictive two words you will hear all day," and that we'd enjoy it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EwTZ2xpQwpA
• And, My Eye Balls Popped Out — Some people can sing, some can dance, some can draw and some can even pop their eyes out! No seriously, pop their eyes out! This gives a whole new meaning to bug eyes, and it's down right freaky. And I thought double-jointed fingers made me special. Guess not! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8OEQeJD9KgE
• Raiden X — All I can say about this game is that it's AWESOME. It's a tribute to classic arcade games and it's so much fun to play. http://www.freeworldgroup.com/onlinegames/gameindex/raidenbig.htm
