So, Barack Obama is finally living up to his middle name.

In front of the Turkish parliament last April, he stressed how he's lived among Muslims, while also saying the West must "educate ourselves more effectively on Islam."

Silly me, I thought I was well-schooled already. But hey, I totally get what our fearless leader is doing.

Before he was president, Obama stressed his Christianity — because we're a nation of Christians. Now, duly elected, he can speak freely of his experiences in the Muslim world.

It's not a problem for me, Mr. President. I get it. You see a Muslim world out there and you employ that magical device you believe opens every door: empathy.

You think that if you bring up good stuff you have in common with these folks, then all the bad stuff goes away and we can talk about real crap — like climate change and, well, climate change.

But is this Empathy Express working? Well, just as Obama meets with Saudi royalty, Usama bin Laden releases another tape, threatening Americans and claiming that Obama has "sown new seeds to increase... revenge on America."

See Mr. P., that's how it works in the arena called "Good vs. Evil": You're damned if you do, damned if you don't. Now, I know that where you went to school, the concept of good and evil is considered cartoonish: There is no good or evil — everything's relative, especially religious practices.

But not for the people who hate us, so you might as well get used to it.

A friend of mine keeps a photo of the World Trade Center in flames on his refrigerator. You might do the same when you travel abroad. If anything, to piss off the help.

And if you disagree with me, then you sir are worse than Hitler.
