Actress Rena Sofer Gives Birth to Girl
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}It's a girl for "Blind Justice (search)" actress Rena Sofer (search) and her husband, TV director Sanford Bookstaver (search).
The 36-year-old actress gave birth Aug. 5 to Avalon Leone Bookstaver at a Los Angeles hospital, publicist Nancy Lannios said Friday.
Sofer has an 8-year-old daughter from a previous marriage. It's the first child for Bookstaver, 31, who has directed episodes of "The O.C." (search) and "One Tree Hill." (search) The couple married in May 2003.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Sofer plays Ron Eldard's wife in "Blind Justice" and has also appeared in "Just Shoot Me!" and NBC's short-lived version of the British series "Coupling."
