About 150 People Search for Missing Wisconsin Mother

HATFIELD, Wis. – Wisconsin officials are searching Tuesday for a young mother missing since Friday.

Alisha Sidie, 27, of Jackson County, has been the focus of searchers since she disappeared Friday night on foot from her home in Hatfield, Wis., near LaCrosse.

Family, friends and law enforcement officers planned to regroup Tuesday to resume the search. About 150 people combed the Hatfield area on Monday. Searchers called in a tracking dog, helicopter and dive team as they looked for the mother of two.

"There's so many dozens of ways that this could have happened," Sidie's friend Molly Hoffman told FOX News on Tuesday. "We all hope that she's being a brat and she's out there somewhere, but we also have thought about the worst and the more we look, it's hard to say what actually happened when we have no news at all."

Sidie's ex-husband, Doug, says his wife left home about 9 p.m. Friday and never returned.

She was last seen wearing light blue scrubs and a long-sleeved T-shirt. Alisha Sidie is described as 5-foot-5, 135 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
