8-Year-Old Connecticut Girl Dies in Fall From Backyard Swing
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Police say an 8-year-old girl has died after falling from a swing in the yard of her Connecticut home.
Police say Susan Kimball was playing outside her home in Monroe Monday evening when the accident happened. She was the daughter of developer John Kimball and his wife, Jill.
Authorities declined to comment on reports that the swing was part of a "zip line," which typically includes cable strung between trees. Police also wouldn't say whether there were any equipment problems.

Susan Kimball was about to enter the fourth grade. School officials are preparing to offer grief counseling to her friends.
