RIYADH, Saudi Arabia – Saudi civil defense official says at least six people have been killed in a house collapse in the holy city of Mecca.
Captain Saleh al-Alyani said Monday that all six victims are members of a Bangladeshi family working in Mecca.
The house collapsed Sunday after heavy rain which caused flooding in many parts of Saudi Arabia's western coast on the Red Sea.
In November some 133 people were killed in floods following heavy rains in neighboring Jeddah.
