Wolverhampton, England – Wolverhampton confirmed Wednesday that the club will lodge an appeal to the FA regarding the red card issued to Nenad Milijas in Tuesday's draw at Arsenal.
Wolves club officials will now formulate a case for the FA and a decision will be reached before Saturday's clash at Bolton.
The Serbian midfielder received a straight red card after 75 minutes for a challenge on Mikel Arteta, which was described by Wolves boss Mick McCarthy in his post-match press conference as a fair tackle in which Milijas won the ball.
