Wilson lead Seahawks over Broncos

Tyrell Sutton and Cooper Helfet each caught a touchdown in the fourth quarter to seal a 30-10 victory by the Seattle Seahawks over the Denver Broncos in a preseason game on Saturday.

Matt Flynn started the game for Seattle and completed 6-of-13 passes for 31 yards. Russell Wilson played the second half and went 10-for-17 through the air for 155 yards and two touchdowns.

Terrell Owens made his return to the NFL after missing all of last season and did not record a reception for the Seahawks. He was targeted five times and dropped a possible touchdown.

Peyton Manning made his second start for Denver and completed 16-of-23 passes for 177 yards and two interceptions in the first half.

Willis McGahee had eight carries for 28 yards and a score in defeat.

Denver took over on offense at the Seattle 25-yard line after Jon Ryan had his punt blocked by David Bruton on the Seahawks' first possession of the game, but Manning was picked off by K.J. Wright two plays later to give Seattle the ball right back.

Steven Hauschka capped an 11-play, 39-yard drive with a 43-yard field goal.

The Broncos countered with an 11-play, 80-yard march in which Manning went 4- for-4 through the air and was finished off by a one-yard touchdown run by McGahee on the final play of the first quarter to make it a 7-3 game.

Seattle then took advantage of a pair of turnovers to take the lead as a Lance Ball fumble was recovered by Leroy Hill at the Denver 46, resulting in Hauschka's 36-yard kick after Owens had a potential 54-yard touchdown pass bounce off his hands.

Jeron Johnson intercepted a Manning pass on the third play of the Broncos' next touch and Hauschka drilled a 43-yard field goal to go on top.

Denver drove down as far as the Seattle 6-yard line on the ensuing possession, but the march was derailed by a couple of penalties and the Broncos were forced to settle for Matt Prater's 32-yard kick to make it a 10-9 game at the break.

Seattle got the ball to open the third quarter and Wilson led a 14-play, 80- yard drive, ending with Kregg Lumpkin's 16-yard run for a score.

Wilson hit Sutton for a 34-yard touchdown and found Helfet for an eight-yard score in the fourth to account for the final margin.
