Wild land Moulson

The Minnesota Wild added some offensive help before Wednesday's trade deadline, picking up goal-scoring winger Matt Moulson in a deal with the Buffalo Sabres.
The Wild acquired Moulson and physical forward Cody McCormick from the Sabres for center Torrey Mitchell, a second-round pick in 2014 and another second- rounder in 2016.
Moulson was traded for the second time this season after being dealt from the New York Islanders to the Sabres in October as part of the package to acquire Thomas Vanek.

The 30-year-old Moulson had 11 goals and 18 assists in 44 games with the Sabres this season. He has 17 goals and 21 assists in 55 total games with Buffalo and the Isles in 2013-14.
A ninth-round pick by Pittsburgh in 2003, Moulson was a three-time 30-goal scorer with the Islanders and has compiled 135 goals and 127 assists over 377 career games with New York, the Sabres and Los Angeles Kings.
McCormick has one goal, four assists and 45 penalty minutes in 29 games with the Sabres this season. The 30-year-old has 19 goals and 40 assists in 358 career games for Colorado and Buffalo since 2003.

Mitchell, 29, has one goal and eight assists in 58 games with Minnesota in 2013-14. In 383 career games with the Wild and San Jose Sharks, Mitchell has compiled 90 points on 35 goals and 55 assists.
