It's officially the college football offseason, which means it's fun to try to project which underutilized player could burst onto the scene next season and become a star.

Many pegged Christian McCaffrey, a seldom-used freshman in 2014, to have a breakout campaign in 2015 based on his productivity in his limited touches headed into this season. Does Iowa State have something similar on its hands?

Trever Ryen is a wide receiver, running back and return man for the Cyclones. He was also one of eight players in FBS who scored a touchdown rushing, receiving and on a punt return. Good things happen when Ryen has the ball in his hands, and ESPN makes a case as to why he should get more burn next season.
