White Sox activate Floyd
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}The Chicago White Sox reinstated pitcher Gavin Floyd from the 15-day disabled list to start Wednesday's game against the Detroit Tigers.
Floyd has been on the DL since Aug. 28 with a right elbow flexor strain.
The 29-year-old is 9-9 with a 4.55 ERA over 15 starts this year.
