Chinese Taipei's Wei-chih Lu closed with a under 69 Sunday to earn a one-stroke win at the Yeangder Tournament Players Championship.
Lu finished at five-under-par 283 for his second Asian Tour title, and first in six years.
Wen-teh Lu, who is no relation to Wei-chih, stumbled to a one-over 73 to end alone in second at minus-four. Mars Pucay struggled to a two-over 74 to take third at two-under-par 286 at Linkou International Golf Club.

Third-round leader Shih-chang Chan faltered to a seven-over 79. He tumbled into seventh place at even-par 288.
Wei-chih Lu birdied the first and four, both par-fives and both for the third straight day to move to minus-five. He posted birdies on the ninth and 10th, but gave those strokes back when he bogeyed 15 and 16. The 32-year-old Lu closed with a birdie at the last to seal the title.
"The winning feeling is second to none and it's even sweeter when you win at home," said Lu, who hadn't finished better than tied for 34th in four previous starts this year on the Asian Tour.

"That birdie on the last hole was exceptionally crucial. I knew that it was not over as Wen-teh still had a chance to force a playoff with two more holes to play, but he only managed two pars. I'm happy that I won."
