Weary and Chaney lead High Point back from 14-point, 2nd-half deficit to beat Campbell 63-62

Adam Weary hit two decisive free throws with 17 seconds left and Allan Chaney scored 12 of his 19 points after intermission as High Point overcame a 14-point, second-half deficit to beat Campbell 63-62 Saturday in each team's regular-season finale.
The Panthers (17-12, 12-4 Big South Conference) trailed 41-27 when Corey Law's layup sparked a 14-4 run. High Point remained close and finally tied it 59-59 on Chaney's layup at 1:51.
Chaney's jumper at 1:12 put the Panthers up 61-60, and after Trey Freeman's basket for Campbell, Weary hit his free throws for the one-point edge.

High Point had lost two straight and was without leading scorer John Brown, who suffered a broken metatarsal in the Panthers' loss to Radford.
Chaney added 11 rebounds for his sixth double-double this year for High Point, which set a new school record for conference wins.
Freeman led Campbell (12-19, 7-9) with 19 points.
