Walden leads Stetson over Lipscomb 76-66
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Freshman Corey Walden scored all but one of his 23 points in the second half to lead Stetson to a 76-66 Atlantic Sun Conference win over Lipscomb on Monday night.
Ridge Graham and Luis Jacobo added 14 points each for the Hatters (4-9, 2-1), who snapped a five-game losing streak. Joel Narburgs chipped in 13 points and Steve Forbes had 10 for Stetson.
Lipscomb (7-5, 2-1) was led by forward Adna Hodzic, who had 20 points to extend his streak of games in double figures to 69, the longest in the nation.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}The Bisons opened the second half with a 10-3 run to take a 28-22 lead before Stetson countered with a 16-3 spurt. Walden poured in 13 points during the 4:22 stretch that resulted in a 38-31 Stetson advantage with 12:40 left.
