Vermont uses 2nd half surge to roll over Hartford, 72-47

Tied at halftime, Hartford took a brief lead early in the second half at 29-26, but the Catamounts responded with a 22-6 run that took over the game for good.
Vermont (19-9, 13-1 America East) maintains its one-game lead over Stony Brook with two games left to play and plays host to the Seawolves Thursday.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Vermont had the hot hand from the field, shooting 56.5 percent (26 of 46) and was 5 of 14 from long range while the Catamounts defense held Hartford to 16 of 49 shooting from the field and 5 of 20 from beyond the 3-point line.
Hartford (14-15, 8-6) was led by Taylor Dyson and Mark Nwakamma, who scored 13 and 11 points, respectively.
