New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - Connecticut and Notre Dame are still the only unbeaten teams in Division I women's college basketball and the two powers still top the latest Associated Press poll.

The defending national champion Huskies are 28-0 after routs of UCF and Houston last week, and are still a unanimous choice as the No. 1 team. UConn received all 36 first-place votes and a total of 900 points from a nationwide media panel.

Notre Dame, still No. 2, improved to 27-0 with a victory over Duke on Sunday, earning the Fighting Irish the ACC regular-season title in their first year in the league.

Louisville, South Carolina, Stanford, Baylor and Duke also held their positions from third through seventh. Penn State and Maryland swapped places at eight and nine, while Tennessee remained 10th.

The second 10 consists of West Virginia, Kentucky, North Carolina State, North Carolina, Oklahoma State, Nebraska, Texas A&M, California, Purdue and Arizona State. Kentucky moved up three spots and North Carolina dropped three places.

Michigan State, Gonzaga, Middle Tennessee, Rutgers and Iowa are the last five teams ranked.

Middle Tennessee and Iowa are this week's newcomers, replacing LSU and St. John's.
