UCLA coach Steve Alford hires 3 new assistants

UCLA basketball coach Steve Alford has hired three new assistants to help in his first season coaching the Bruins.
Duane Broussard follows Alford to Westwood from New Mexico, where he spent 10 years on the staff, including the last five with Alford.
Ed Schilling was head coach the last four years at Park Tudor High in Indianapolis. Alford is from Indiana.

David Grace has been an assistant at Oregon State the last five years. Tyus Edney, who starred on UCLA's 1995 national championship team, will continue as director of operations.
Alford is still finalizing his support staff, and will meet one-on-one with UCLA's current players before hitting the recruiting trail.
