Twins put Duensing on DL

Minneapolis, MN (SportsNetwork.com) - The Minnesota Twins have placed pitcher Brian Duensing on the 15-day disabled list with a right intercostal strain.
Duensing suffered the injury during Thursday's game against Kansas City, during which he allowed two runs in the ninth inning of Minnesota's 8-5 win.
The left-hander has allowed three runs on four hits in 3 2/3 innings over six games this season.

To replace Duensing on the 25-man roster, the Twins recalled pitcher Caleb Thielbar from Triple-A Rochester.
Thielbar has made 103 relief appearances over the past two seasons with the Twins, posting a 5-3 record with a 2.59 ERA.
