Twice as nice? Two-QBs system a possibility for Browns

Cleveland Browns safety Donte Whitner has seen the two-quarterback system work in the NFL.
With Johnny Manziel serving as the backup quarterback for the Browns, coach Mike Pettine has hinted at developing an offensive package for him. The idea is not unlike what the San Francisco 49ers did in 2012 with Alex Smith and Colin Kaepernick.
Whitner was on the 49ers at the time and said that even if the package isn't used much in a game, simply making sure an opposing team has to prepare for it can be an advantage.

Pettine agreed. He was the defensive coordinator for the Jets when they played the 49ers in 2012.
New York spent time preparing for both Kaepernick and Smith before losing 34-0. Kaepernick threw one incomplete pass, but rushed for 50 yards and a score.
