Oklahoma City Thunder center Kendrick Perkins was arrested for public intoxication and disorderly conduct following a series of altercations at a night club early Saturday morning, according to police.
Officers who arrived to see a large crowd of people gathering outside of a club called The Ticket found them complaining of fights and pepper spray inside, according to information from the Beaumont Police Department.
The officer who arrested Perkins saw the NBA player inside having an altercation with club management. There were approximately 50 people surrounding Perkins as he tried to fight the manager of the club, the police report said.

After a crowd pushed the 6-foot-10 center out a back door, Perkins continued to yell obscenities and was attempting to fight several other people in the crowd who were trying to help.
Perkins was arrested when it became that he was "intoxicated to the degree that he was a danger to himself or others," the police report said. He posted bond after he was booked without further incident.
The Thunder acquired Perkins last season in a trade with the Boston Celtics and he averaged 5.1 points and 7.9 rebounds in 17 games with them. He spent the first seven-plus seasons of his NBA career with the Celtics.
