Houston, TX – Houston Texans rookie wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins suffered a concussion in Saturday's preseason contest against the Dolphins.
Hopkins apparently sustained the head injury in the second quarter of a 24-17 win over Miami.
Hopkins was selected 27th overall by the Texans in the first round of April's draft.
The 6-foot-1 Hopkins caught 82 passes and set school records with 1,405 receiving yards and 18 touchdown receptions as a junior at Clemson last season. He completed his collegiate career with 206 receptions for 3,020 yards and 27 touchdowns.
