Texans place Cushing on IR, sign 5 to active roster
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Houston, TX (SportsNetwork.com) - The Houston Texans placed linebacker Brian Cushing on injured reserve Monday.
Cushing will miss the rest of the season after suffering a fractured fibula and a torn lateral collateral ligament in his left knee on Oct. 20 at Kansas City.
The Texans also signed five players to the active roster: running backs Ray Graham, Dennis Johnson and Deji Karim and linebackers Tavares Gooden and Jeff Tarpinian.
