Texans condemn Dolphins to another home defeat

By Simon Evans

MIAMI (Reuters) - The Miami Dolphins suffered their sixth straight home loss as they fell 23-13 to the undefeated Houston Texans on Sunday.

Houston quarterback Matt Schaub threw for 230 yards and two touchdowns in a game where Miami's Dan Carpenter missed two field goal attempts.

The game turned decisively in the Texans' direction in the fourth quarter when Schaub found Andre Johnson with a 22-yard touchdown pass.

The Dolphins (0-2) have lost 11 of their last 12 home games and the only positive in another drab display was the 107 yard rushing performance from rookie running back Daniel Thomas.

The result gives the Texans their second win of the season after their season-opening victory over the Indianapolis Colts and extends their all-time record over Miami to 6-0.
