Tampa Bay Buccaneers LB Derrick Brooks inducted into Pro Football Hall of Fame

Linebacker Derrick Brooks has been inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Brooks is an 11-time Pro Bowl selection and spent his 14-year career with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He was the NFL's 2002 Defensive Player of the Year, and helped anchor a defense that led the Bucs to their Super Bowl victory that season.
Brooks retired after the 2008 season and was selected for induction in his first year of eligibility.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}He is the third player who spent a majority of his career in Tampa Bay to be inducted. Brooks was introduced by his son, Decalon Brooks.
The 2014 class is rounded out by defensive end Michael Strahan, receiver Andre Reed, offensive tackle Walter Jones, defensive back Aeneas Williams, punter Ray Guy and defensive end Claude Humphrey.
