Washington Redskins coach Jay Gruden says cornerback Bashaud Breeland is expected to miss four to six weeks with an MCL problem in his right knee.
Gruden addressed Breeland's injury on Saturday, a day after the second-year player was hurt during the second practice of training camp.
Gruden calls Breeland's diagnosis ''the best-case scenario, probably, for what we thought'' and says ''he's a fast healer.''

Gruden says Justin Rogers, Tevin Mitchel and Kyshoen Jarrett will get a shot at playing in the slot with Breeland out.
Breeland went down to the turf shortly after the NFL announced he would be suspended for the Redskins' regular-season opener against Miami for violating the substance abuse policy.
Also Saturday, the Redskins signed cornerback Deshazor Everett and released linebacker Dasman McCullum.
