FC Dallas gained a point from its 0-0 draw with the San Jose Earthquakes on Saturday, but the Hoops saw their winless streak reach 13 games.
San Jose was reduced to 10 men in the 80th minute when Ramiro Corrales received his second yellow card, but even then it was the Earthquakes who had the better of the chances.
Dallas has now scored two goals in its last four games, and didn't trouble San Jose goalkeeper Jon Busch too much on Saturday.

Chris Wondolowski must have thought he broke the deadlock in the 37th minute for the Earthquakes when he chipped a shot beyond goalkeeper Kevin Hartman, only for defender Hernan Pertuz to slide in at the last moment and clear the ball off the goal line.
Corrales collected his second yellow card 10 minutes from time for a clumsy challenge on Carlos Rodriguez, but it seemed to spark the visitors instead of giving Dallas a chance.
Shea Salinas drove into the penalty area and had his shot take a slight deflection off the foot of a Dallas defender, but Hartman reacted well and kept the ball out of the net.

Wondolowski had another look at goal three minutes from time when he beat the offside trap and was in on Hartman, who was able to keep out the low shot.
San Jose remains on top of the Western Conference but is only one point clear of second-place Real Salt Lake.
