Steward leads UConn women past DePaul 94-61 in Big East quarterfinals
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Breanna Stewart scored 21 points to lead a balanced offense and No. 3 Connecticut bounced back from its loss to Notre Dame with a 94-61 win over DePaul in the quarterfinals of the Big East tournament Sunday night.
Stefanie Dolson and Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis each added 16 points for the Huskies (28-3), who have won 16 consecutive Big East tournament games. Five UConn players reached double figures.
Megan Rogowski had 15 points and Jasmine Penny had 12 for DePaul (21-11).
