Steelers' Taylor suffers broken thumb

Taylor, who re-signed with the Steelers during the offseason, suffered the injury on the second play of the game and was removed late in the first quarter.
"He could be out for a couple of weeks or so," said Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin. "Whether that will require surgery remains to be seen, but he did break his left thumb."
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Originally selected by Pittsburgh in the fourth round of the 2003 NFL Draft, Taylor has accumulated 481 tackles and 11 interceptions in eight seasons with the Steelers.
