San Antonio, TX – San Antonio Spurs guard Tony Parker is expected to play in Thursday night's Game 4 of the NBA Finals against Miami despite suffering from a Grade 1 right hamstring strain.
The Spurs made the announcement via their Twitter page.
Parker underwent an MRI exam on Wednesday, less than 24 hours after suffering the injury in Game 3 of the NBA Finals. He played 27 1/2 minutes and briefly returned to the court after going to the locker room in the third quarter to get evaluated.
Parker totaled six points and eight assists in Tuesday's 113-77 victory over the Heat, which gave San Antonio a 2-1 lead in the series.
