Soldado's hat trick rescues Valencia

Soldado scored in the opening minute for Valencia, then bagged an own goal for Racing in the sixth that was followed by goals from Lautaro Acosta in the 14th and Adrian Gonzalez in the 56th for Racing.
But Adil Rami pulled one goal back in the 57th and Soldado followed with back- to-back goals in the 88th and 90th.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Soldado scored his first off a rebound, but headed into his own net to tie the match. But he completed Valencia's rally when he converted to the bottom left in the 88th and turned Jordi Alba's cross into the net in the 90th.
Real Sociedad 2, Sporting Gijon 1
Gijon, Spain - Imanol Agirretxe scored in both halves and Real Sociedad opened the Spanish La Liga season with a 2-1 win over Sporting Gijon at El Molinon on Saturday.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Agirretxe started the scoring in the 35th minute and added to Sociedad's edge in the 65th minute, converting both goals off headers.
Miguel De Las Cuevas converted a penalty kick in the 68th minute for Gijon.
Real Betis 1, Granada 0
