Oklahoma State star Marcus Smart said a few months ago that Kansas freshman Andrew Wiggins hadn't done anything yet to deserve the considerable hype he'd been receiving.

Well, Smart will get to assess Wiggins' game for himself on Saturday.

He'll lead the ninth-ranked Cowboys, who are 15-2 and 3-1 in the Big 12, into Allen Fieldhouse to take on Wiggins and the Jayhawks, who are 12-4 and 3-0 in league play.

It's the first showdown of the season between two of the conference's top teams, not to mention two of its best players. And while Smart and Wiggins don't exactly play the same position, there's a good chance they'll be matched up for a bit on Saturday.

It should be quite the treat for college basketball fans.
