Sixers sign Mack to 10-day contract

The Philadelphia 76ers signed guard Shelvin Mack to a 10-day contract Thursday.

Mack, who was originally drafted by the Washington Wizards in 2011, was waived by the team on Jan. 7 after appearing in seven games this season. Over 71 career games, the Butler product has averaged 3.8 points, 2.2 assists and 1.5 rebounds per contest.

In addition, the 10-day contract guard Maalik Wayns signed on Jan. 8 has expired.
