Pittsburgh Penguins star Sidney Crosby says it's on the players to take responsibility for another playoff disappointment.

Crosby brushed aside reports of a rift between the team and coach Dan Bylsma, whose status is in question after the Penguins lost to the New York Rangers in the Eastern Conference semifinals. Crosby called those kinds of reports "normal" in the wake of an early postseason exit.

Crosby scored only one goal in 13 playoff games but said he didn't feel he was off his game. He added the players and coaches were in it together after the Rangers won the final three games of the series to rally from a 3-1 deficit.
