Furman isn't Samford head football coach Pat Sullivan's only opponent this week.
The sixth-year coach is taking a few days away from his team while he deals with a bout of pneumonia, the Samford athletics department announced Monday.
Sullivan is hoping to return to his team before Saturday's season-opening home game against Furman.

Sullivan has a 25-30 record at Samford, including last year's 26-21 win at Furman.
The Bulldogs are taking off from practice Monday for the first day of fall semester classes. Their next practice will be held Tuesday afternoon.
