Sabres agree to terms with Girgensons

The Buffalo Sabres agreed to terms on a three- year, entry-level contract with forward Zemgus Girgensons on Friday.

Girgensons, who was selected with the 14th pick in the first round, spent the last two seasons with the Dubuque Fighting Saints of the United States Hockey League, recording 45 goals, 59 assists and 115 penalty minutes through 100 games.

The Latvia native led the Fighting Saints in goals (24) and points (55) in 49 games last year.
