Surprise, AZ – The Kansas City Royals have agreed to terms year contract.
The 25-year-old righty was 1-1 with an 8.26 earned run average in seven games -- four starts -- with the Royals last season.
In three major league seasons, the New Jersey native has posted an 11-18 record with a 5.13 ERA in 48 games, 39 of which were starts, with Kansas City and Oakland.
