Rockies/Pirates washed out in Pittsburgh
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Monday's game between the Colorado Rockies and Pittsburgh Pirates was postponed because of inclement weather in western Pennsylvania.
The contest will be made up as part of a straight doubleheader on Wednesday, starting at 12:35 p.m. (et). The teams were originally slated to play the finale of the three-game set on Wednesday afternoon.
Persistent rain has fallen in Pittsburgh, while areas outside of the city have been hit with snow.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}The Pirates have pushed back Monday's scheduled starter, Kevin Correia, to Tuesday, while James McDonald will also be moved back a day and will start the opener of Wednesday's twinbill. Charlie Morton will get the ball in Game 2 on Wednesday.
