CORAOPOLIS, Pa. – Karon Abraham scored 17 of his 24 points in the first half as Robert Morris cruised to an 83-65 win over Fairleigh Dickinson on Thursday night.
The Colonials (7-9, 3-2 Northeast Conference) posted back-to-back wins for the first time this season while sending the Knights (3-11, 2-3) to their eighth straight loss.
Abraham scored the first eight points of the game and hit 5 of 6 3-pointers in the first half.
Fairleigh Dickinson took its only lead at 21-20, but Robert Morris responded with a 14-2 run to take the lead for good in its first home game since Dec. 11.
The Colonials shot 50.9 percent from the field (28 of 55) compared to 38.9 percent for the Knights (21 of 54).
Velton Jones added 12 points and Lijah Thompson had 10 for Robert Morris.
Terence Grier tied his career high with 23 points, 15 in the first half, to pace Fairleigh Dickinson.
