Rick Hendrick takes delivery of a stunning new car

NASCAR team owner Rick Hendrick is also an avid car collector, specializing in the first production serial number examples of high-performance cars.

Hendrick's private museum on the Concord, N.C., Hendrick Motorsports campus has a whole collection of Corvettes, Camaros and other cars bearing VIN. 001.

Tuesday, Hendrick added to that collection with a tasty new acquisition: The first production example of the stunning new 2017 Acura NSX supercar. Score one more VIN 001 for the racer and collector.

Hendrick took delivery of the mid-engined sports car Tuesday morning at Acura's facility in Marysville, Ohio.
