The Dallas Cowboys are adding depth to their backfield.

Running back Christine Michael has been traded from the Seattle Seahawks to the Dallas Cowboys, according to multiple media reports. ESPN's Adam Schefter first reported the story.

Michael, who is entering his third season, had 34 attempts for 175 yards in 2014. The 5-foot-10, 221-pound back starred for Texas A&M during his college days.

The Seahawks signed veteran running back Fred Jackson to back up Marshawn Lynch last week. Additionally, running back Robert Turbin was placed on injured reserve.
