Junior Galette has had one of the worst offseasons in recent memory, and now the repercussions are coming.

After being arrested for domestic violence, but having the charges dropped, Galette was rumored to be the man in a viral video hitting a woman with a belt. Let's also not forget the fact that Galette posted a video on social media which took shots at New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton.

Enough was enough for the Saints apparently, as Ian Rapoport of NFL.com reported that the team has chosen to cut the troubled linebacker.

As the $18 million number above explains, this is a move that obviously wasn't easy for the Saints, but it was a smart one.

Over the past two seasons, Galette has tallied 85 total tackles with an impressive 22 sacks. He also has forced four fumbles while tallying four passes defensed.
