While quarterback Sam Bradford was staging a very public holdout with the Eagles this offseason, it turns out Nick Foles was doing the same thing in private with the Los Angeles Rams -- and is still doing it -- according to an ESPN report.

Foles reportedly was a regular when offseason workouts began April 18 but hasn't participated in a team-run session since the Rams drafted quarterback Jared Goff with the No. 1 overall pick 10 days later. Bradford, who had the same beef with the Eagles when they traded up to take quarterback Carson Wentz No. 2 overall, returned to the club before it began formal organized team activities, but ESPN reports that Foles continued his absence when OTAs began Tuesday.

Bradford and Foles, of course, are linked in more ways than just offseason absences. The two QBs were traded for each other last offseason in hopes that they could jump-start their careers with a new team. Bradford, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2010 draft, had missed a year and a half recovering from ACL injuries but threw for a career-best 3,725 yards with the Eagles. Foles, coming off a rough 2014 season in Philadelphia, flopped with the Rams and ended up losing his starting job to journeyman Case Keenum.

The result for both QBs was the same, however: Their teams traded up to draft their eventual replacements. Despite his holdout, the Eagles have maintained that Bradford remains their starter until proven otherwise, but the Rams have given no such assurance to Foles -- which makes sense because he didn't finish last season as their starter.

Three years after Foles had one of the most efficient years by a QB in NFL history -- throwing 27 touchdown passes and just two interceptions back in 2013 -- his stock has fallen mightily, and skipping workouts will do nothing to help that.
