Rennes, France (SportsNetwork.com) - Rennes winger Kamil Grosicki is facing three months on the sidelines after sustaining a broken arm in Poland's Euro 2016 qualifier against Georgia.
Grosicki suffered the injury in the 69th minute of Poland's 4-0 victory, but he will now miss a significant part of the season for Rennes, which sits in eighth place and is very much in contention for a place in European competition.
Rennes is currently in the midst of a six-match unbeaten streak, but the club will be without Grosicki for a sizeable stretch of the season with the 26- year-old having made 10 appearances in Ligue 1 so far this term.
After joining Rennes in January, Grosicki had a hand in the club reaching the final of the Coupe de France last season as he scored in the quarterfinal and semifinal round before Rennes lost in the final to Guingamp.
