Arkansas' shutout win over LSU did more than just end a 17-game Southeastern Conference losing streak.

It also put the relieved Razorbacks (5-5, 1-5) within one win of returning to a bowl game for the first time in three seasons.

Led by Martrell Spaight's 10 tackles, including a sack and a forced fumble, Arkansas earned its first shutout since 2006 in Saturday's 17-0 win over the Tigers.

The Razorbacks have to win one of their final two games to become bowl eligible for the first time since a Cotton Bowl win over Kansas State to end the 2011 season.

Arkansas hosts Mississippi this week before finishing the regular season at Missouri.
