Ashburn, VA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Washington Redskins have agreed to terms with nine of their 10 picks in the 2015 NFL Draft.
Only first-round choice, offensive tackle Brandon Scherff, remains without a contract.
Mississippi State's Preston Smith, a second-round selection, was the highest choice to sign Monday. Smith, who will switch from defensive end to linebacker with the Redskins, led the Bulldogs last season with nine sacks and 15 tackles for loss.
Running back Matt Jones, a third-round choice out of Florida, led the Gators in 2014 with 817 rushing yards and scored six touchdowns on the ground. Fourth-round pick Jamison Crowder finished his four-year career as a wide receiver at Duke with an ACC record 283 receptions for 3,641 yards and 23 touchdowns.
The remaining selections to agree to terms prior to this week's minicamp included Alabama offensive lineman Arie Kouandjio (4th), Arkansas linebacker Martrell Spaight (5th), Virginia Tech safety Kyshoen Jarrett, Arkansas cornerback Tevin Mitchel and Ohio State wide receiver Evan Spencer (6th) and South Florida center Austin Reiter (7th).
