Red Wings' Ericsson out 2-3 weeks

Detroit, MI (SportsNetwork.com) - Detroit Red Wings defenseman Jonathan Ericsson is expected to miss 2-to-3 weeks with a shoulder injury.

Ericsson missed Monday night's game against San Jose because of the birth of his first child. He then underwent an MRI exam, which revealed the injury.

Ericsson has one goal and two assists for three points this season.
