Red Sox recall Aceves for Wednesday start

The Boston Red Sox recalled pitcher Alfredo Aceves from Triple-A Pawtucket and named him the starter for Wednesday's rubber match of a three-game set versus Tampa Bay.
Aceves has had an up-and-down season for Boston this year, appearing in seven games (four starts) and compiling a 2-1 record with a 6.57 ERA. He's allowed seven homers and 18 earned runs over 24 2/3 innings.
The club optioned pitcher Jose De La Torre to Pawtucket. The righty appeared in three contests for Boston, allowing four hits and three runs over 5 1/3 frames.
