Red Sox recall 3B Cecchini

Boston, MA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Boston Red Sox recalled third baseman Garin Cecchini from Triple-A Pawtucket prior to Sunday's game against the Tampa Bay Rays.
The move marks the first career major league stint for Cecchini, who was batting .278 with seven doubles, one home run and 21 RBI through 50 games at Pawtucket.
The Red Sox optioned pitcher Alex Wilson to Pawtucket following Saturday's game to make room for Cecchini on the roster.
