Naples, FL – J.B. Holmes withdrew from the Franklin Templeton Shootout due to his continuing recovery from brain surgery, which also caused him to miss the FedEx Cup Playoffs.
Holmes was set to pair with Kenny Perry, but Scott Stallings will now take his place.
"It is with great disappointment that I have elected to withdraw from this year's Franklin Templeton Shootout," Holmes said. "While I continue to make great strides in my recovery from surgery for Chiari Malformation, I am not 100 percent (healthy), and I think it would be a great disservice to my partner ... for me to play at less than full capacity."
Stallings, who posted one win this year at The Greenbrier Classic, will play in this event for the first time. Perry is a two-time champion.
