Ravens, Clark agree to contract

The Baltimore Ravens and veteran tight end Dallas Clark have agreed in principal to a contract.

Clark spent the previous season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, following a nine-year stint with Indianapolis, totaling 47 catches for 435 yards and four touchdowns over 16 games.

A Super Bowl winner with the Colts in 2006, Clark has accumulated 474 receptions for 5,322 yards and 50 TDs in 131 appearances since arriving in the NFL for the 2003 season out of Iowa.

Clark enjoyed a career year in 2009, striking for 100 receptions, 1,106 yards and 10 trips to the end zone, including a career-best 80-yard scoring reception.

The Ravens' latest foray into the veteran free-agent pool came hours after signing veteran wideout Brandon Stokley to a one-year contract.
